My family have been using homeopathy for animals for generations. My grandma was a self-taught homeopath, founding member of the Soil Association, and lived a long, healthy life - and this has been passed down. My father's family are farmers, including National Trust tenant farmers, beef, dairy and sheep farmers, and small holders with horses, chickens and working dogs too. Growing up, we helped all of our pets with homeopathy, and this continues with our adorable ex-street dog (pictured), who is homeopathy's loveliest and biggest ambassador!

Homeopathy is gentle, safe, and natural. It works by addressing the root cause, and takes into consideration many holistic factors to promote natural healing. Homeopathy can help with physical, emotional and behavioural issues. It can help with the natural prevention of fleas, worms and tics etc, as well as support animals through pregnancy, birth, trauma, recovery from surgery, wound healing, digestive disorders, UTIs and infections, disease prevention, and supporting livestock navigate their various challenges throughout the farming year.

How can I help you and your animals? As a qualified homeopath, I have both trained and taught on the Homeopathy at Wellie Level course, run by qualified vets and homeopaths. Since I am not a vet, the law states that I cannot diagnose, prescribe or claim to replace veterinary care. However, I can meet you (and your animals) online or in person, explain which remedies could support their symptoms and why, and give you the understanding and confidence to support your animals how you see best. The information I share allows you to make an informed decision, and can safely be used either on its own or alongside any advice and medication from your vet.

Just as I have written for farms and livestock, our pets are such individuals. They have their quirks, wobbles, fears, anxieties, physical symptoms, behaviour patterns and personalities. Homeopathy treats each animal (and human!) completely individually, so that you can get to the root cause of the problem.

I have helped tons of owners support their four legged friends - with symptoms ranging from chronic nasal discharge, stubborn yeast infections, digestive issues, kidney and liver support, seizures, mastitis, failure-to-thrive, injuries, wounds, skin rashes, separation anxiety, fears, labour, infections; reverse-sneezing, joint pain, chronic UTIs, oral and dental symptoms, and behavioural issues.

There are loads of products out there for supporting animals holistically, and remedies can be used on their own, or alongside conventional vet treatment.

Helios Pharmacy sell a Pet Kit, and Ainsworth's have a webpage dedicated to animal remedies. (The remedies are the exact same that you use for humans, but the kits simply contain remedies that have been selected to cover the most common animal ailments).

Following my consultation, and if you choose to use homeopathy, you can order remedies from Helios or Ainsworths. They are inexpensive, arrive next-day, and they work! But don't take my word for it. Get in touch for a chat, and try it out for yourself

To comply with the law, my consultations are for animal-owners and farmers*, to provide them the holistic understanding and remedy information that may help support their animals. I meet you in person or online, and offer the information that will help you to make a plan, alongside any advice of your vet.

Acute advice - wounds, surgery recovery, worms, new acute issues - £40

Chronic advice - chronic or long term conditions - £80, then £60 thereafter

Homeopathic remedies cost under £10 and can be ordered from homeopathic pharmacies for next day delivery. Many people also choose to buy a remedy kit for any future emergencies or symptoms. There are certain remedies I wouldn't be without, and I am happy to tell you about these.

If you would like to know more about how I can help you, simply get in touch and we can have an initial chat

*Disclaimer: To comply with the law, I offer an advice-only service for animal owners. I do not treat, diagnose, prescribe or claim to replace veterinary care, and I encourage you to consult a vet for their professional opinion.  It is extremely important not to stop any conventional medication your pet is receiving without consulting your vet. You can find a qualified homeopathic vet via the British Association of Homeopathic Veterinary Surgeons (BAHVS).

Lucy saved me an absolute fortune recently, but more importantly, helped my dog so quickly. His face was swollen up and he was drooling badly, so I called the vet. I live remotely, and would have had to put him in the hot car and drive for 90 minutes each way, while he was distressed. Furthermore, I would not have arrived before they closed, thus requiring out of hours care. Before I left, I decided to call Lucy, and she mentioned a possible remedy, explaining why it might help. The remedy worked so fast, he was back to his normal self in no time. She followed up 30 minutes later, and asked how he was in himself, now the main swelling was going down. She really understands the stress that animals experience, and since he was being really clingy, so she told me about another remedy, if needed. After that, he was back to his normal happy self. I am fairly sure he had been stung by a wasp, and although I would happily have paid the vet, I'm also fairly sure that homeopathy saved him a lot of extra distress that day, (and saved me a small fortune!)

Come and learn my Introductory Homeopathy for Animals course

I love teaching farmers and pet owners the safe use of homeopathy. Not only is it natural, gentle and safe, but it can also help save money by helping prevent or gently support animals naturally. It also boosts their health for the future by helping to minimise harsh medications where appropriate. (I always recommend you seek advice from your vet, too). But in addition, you know your animals SO well - they are SUCH individuals, and so are their symptoms. And so learning about homeopathy and natural health will give you the confidence and understanding to look at your animals' wellbeing in a whole new, holistic way.  Whether their symptoms are purely physical, or bought on by stress, trauma, emotion or other causes, homeopathy can help.

You can book a consultation, or a one-to-one lesson with me, or you can get a group of farmers, small holders or pet lovers together, and I will teach you what you need to know. Its informative and really eye opening! In the meantime, feel free to book a free initial chat, so you can ask me any questions and find out how homeopathy might be able to support your four legged friends (and three legged/any combination of legs/wings/other!)
